Virginia Master
Naturalist Program Comes to Merrimac Farm
The Merrimac Farm Chapter of the
Virginia Master Naturalist Program is now accepting applications for
it new training course, which begins in September 2008.
The Virginia Master Naturalist
Program aims to cultivate a well-informed corps of volunteers who
can have a positive impact on Virginia's natural resources.
The program began in 2006 and has grown to support 25 chapters
located throughout Virginia.
Prince William Soil and Water
Conservation District has partnered with Prince William Conservation
Alliance, Prince William County Watershed Management Branch, Prince
William Forest Park, and Prince William Wildflower Society in this
effort.
